Spotlight on Officer Rafael Marquetti

National Guard serves in the Stone Mountain CID during snow storm The Stone Mountain CID wishes to
recognize Rafael Marquetti, a public safety officer who patrols our area with Plaza Security LLC. Marquetti is
active with the Georgia Army National Guard, and he was called to duty during both of our recent winter weather
events.
Marquetti leads a team of eight to 16 Guard solders. His assignment covered territory north of I-285 up to the
Cumming and Blairsville communities. Marquetti and his team assisted stranded motorists, persons needing
medical transport and even a GDOT truck that ran off the road.
We appreciate the dedication and commitment of Rafael Marquetti to serve those in need and to protect the
businesses that are part of the Stone Mountain CID.
